SAWFISH CONSERVATION

My work with Tampa Bay Waterkeeper and Havenworth Coastal Conservation involved collaborating closely to recover a sawfish, an endangered species critical to maintaining the health of coastal ecosystems. Through coordinated efforts in the field, I was able to document the recovery process, capturing both the challenges and successes involved. This story resonated beyond our community and was featured by the Tampa Bay Times, highlighting the importance of conservation efforts and raising awareness about the sawfish’s vulnerability. The project underscored the power of visual storytelling in driving environmental advocacy.
